The Met have announced that they have foiled (wow, the Met love the word foiled) three terrorist plots since the suicide attacks on July 7.
While a new survey has found that sixteen per cent of British Muslims believe that while the 7 July attacks were wrong, the cause was right.
Yesterday afternoon two adults and a child died in a fire above a newsagent's shop near the All England Club in Wimbledon.
Network Rail says it needs another £8 billion. Half of that is for the Thameslink, "£3.2bn to rebuild London Bridge station; redevelop Farringdon and Blackfriars; build a new viaduct over Borough market - currently a big bottleneck - and revamp the signals for the whole line."
And talking of the railways, the DLR has been awarded the overall 2006 Railway Industry Innovation Award for its 'Delivering a successful railway through effective partnerships' (see pic above, we do put some thought into this you know).
