A witness at the Old Bailey trial of seven men accused of plotting an al-Qaeda bombing campaign has told how he decided to fight the US despite his mother being caught up in the 9/11 attacks. He has been given immunity from prosecution in the UK in exchange for his evidence. The seven are accused of planning to blow up a shopping centre and a night club as well as attempting to gather material to make a "radio-isotope bomb"
