Shows Postponed

Shows Postponed

It seems faintly ridiculous to be posting about things like gigs right now, but we have to start some time. If you have plans to go to a gig in the next few days, clearly you should check that they're going ahead. We'll try and keep you informed of any big ones we hear have been postponed.

The main gig taking place this weekend was the Queen & Paul Rodgers Hyde Park Show. We said 'was'. The gig's postponed by a week and now takes place on 15th July. All tickets will remain valid for the new show and an information line has been set up on 0870 060 1767. The revised date is still subject to confirmation so that same number is your point of contact for updates.

If ticket holders are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, they should contact their point of purchase by 6pm on Wednesday 13th July for a refund.

Those who bought a ticket from getLIVE or Ticketmaster and need a refund should call 0870 400 0750.

Update:

Thanks to commenter Stuart Nathan for informing us the REM show is postponed until next week (same number as above for refunds) with the Somerset House gigs this weekend seemingly ok at the moment.

The REM show on Saturday is also postponed until next week — same number for refunds. The Somerset House gigs tonight, Saturday and Sunday all seem to be going ahead atm.

It does seem faintly ridiculous to worry about our entertainment but at the same time I think it's really important that we do get out there. There's something really communal about being in public places - in pubs, at gigs, wherever - and just allowing ourselves to feeling the rawness as well as the strong connection with our fellow Londoners.
