P P P Pathetic!

Public Private Partnerships on the Tube have been slammed harder than passengers' heads during a derailment, in a new parliamentary report. Politics.co.uk reports that far from improving things under the streets of London the PPP approach has resulted in an increase of incidents that "could jeopardise safety on the Underground".

Contractors are "pocketing £2m a week in profits" and yet the damn thing is as bad as ever and perhaps more dangerous.

Londonist hopes that a planned PPP with Al Qaeda finally goes ahead because even a partly privatised terrorist network would probably make London a lot safer.

Note: Politics.co.uk will be following the story as their Issue of the Day.

Looking at that pic , it would help safety if they spent money putting 'ends ' on the tubes...

I just wish they'd get around to fitting black and white TVs then we could travel in the style promised to us by Space: 1999
