Justice Is Served

How many times have you heard it? You're stood in the queue in some fast food restaurant and some 'wit' in the line behind you says:

"Those pictures on the menu...they look nothin' like that in real life you know."

Really? You mean the huge corporate behemoths have been lying to us?

Well today could be the beginning of the end for these chip pan charlatans, because KFC has been caught out by the Advertising Standards Authority.

The ASA recently 'raided' a London outlet of KFC only to find that the size of their Mini Fillet chicken burgers did not match up to the "advertised bun":

"the advertised bun was thicker than those it bought in a London outlet and that there was more filling and the lettuce was a different type."

KFC's response? The woman holding the burger in the ad' had "small hands".

You have to give them credit for their cheek don't you? Ok, maybe not.

Anyway the chain has now been 'banned' from misleading its customers, which we'd kind of assumed they were banned from doing anyway. But one small step and all that eh?
