Ken Livingstone's campaign to have just about everything happen in London continued this week when he submitted a revised bid for London to host the start of the 2007 Tour de France.
Ken was at the dinner to celebrate the Entente Cordiale bike race between Paris and London, and took the opportunity to corner Tour de France director Jean-Marie Leblanc about the capital's chances of staging the 2007 Grand Depart.
What with this, the possibility of a Grand Prix around London's roads, and Ken's pedestrianising obsession, it's going to get pretty crowded round here in the next few years.
