You could easily walk past the AITF without ever realising that you just missed one of the area's most beautiful pubs.
The outside is plain in the extreme — almost studiously uninteresting. Inside, however, warm wooden panelling and striking stained-glass windows make for a unique environment.
It's the complete antithesis of the overpriced boutiquery that commands most of Marylebone High Street, hence why we've included it in this pub guide.
This is otherwise a straightforward Sam Smith's pub, with cheap beer, no music and no nonsense. (On our last visit, a group of lads in fancy-dress were asked to leave. They told us they were from LSE, which suggests they were really from arch-rival King's.)
The downstairs bar is the most attractive, but you'll find equally comfortable seating upstairs.
