Normally, boozing in a town hall is coupled to some kind of embarrassing family wedding. At Leyton town hall, however, you can lounge around at your leisure without a creaky maiden aunt in sight. The magnificent old building, you see, has been converted into another outlet of the thriving Antic chain. As you'd imagine from a former town hall, this place is big, with a sectioned off dining room and a for-hire 'Orient Room' upstairs. You must also enjoy the creepy basement on the way to the toilets, especially the dusty old corridor lined with portraits of former mayors. It's definitely haunted. Choose among eight craft ales (well, seven plus Doom Bar), plus any number of keg and bottles, then take a good look around.
