Londonist Out Loud: A Podcast For London, 12 December 2011

Welcome to the latest episode of Londonist Out Loud, a podcast about London. You can listen in-browser, or subscribe via iTunes or RSS.

This week's episode is the first in a special four-part series visiting some of London's most famous and endearing institutions. Host N Quentin Woolf begins by visiting Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, where Celine Gauthier shows him round. They discuss the history and present work of the pet refuge, which reunites lost dogs and cats with their owners, or finds them new homes.

The centre costs £13 million to run each year, and is almost entirely funded by donations. You can help the cause by donating here.
