Push is one of the first shows at this year's Vault Festival

REMBRANDT'S LIGHT: It's the final weekend of Rembrandt's Light, an exhibition dedicated to the cinematic style of the Dutch Master's paintings. It offers an alternative look at some of his well-known works, while touches by Star Wars cinematographer Peter Suschitzky add a whole other element to the exhibition. WILLIAM BLAKE: Also closing this weekend is William Blake at Tate Britain. The bizarre and beautiful blockbuster show portrays Blake as a complex man capable of producing outstanding, outlandish art. Tate Britain, £18, book ahead, until 2 February

MIME FESTIVAL: Last chance to catch a show at this year's London International Mime Festival. Many have already sold out, but you can still see acrobatics in Galactik Ensemble, or dancing hands in miniature sets in Cold Blood, among others. Tarot is part of the opening weekend of Vault Festival

VAULT FESTIVAL: It's the first weekend of performing arts showcase Vault Festival, which returns to the space underneath and around Waterloo station for two months of shows. MUSHROOMS: The common — and not so common — fungus is the subject of a new Somerset House exhibition. Mushrooms: The art, design and future of fungi contains the work of over 40 artists and musicians, celebrating all aspects of mushrooms, from their psychedelic legacy to their practical use in creating sustainable textiles. CHINESE NEW YEAR: Brent Cross also holds Chinese New Year celebrations, including a day of free, family-friendly activities.
