London is due to get a sparkly new high-speed railway, connecting London and Birmingham in less than 50 minutes (we just have to wait until 2026 to get it). High Speed 2 is a vast project, not only promising a new line but also a brand new railway station for the capital.
Construction on Old Oak Common in west London is already underway, and in February 2019 we went behind the scenes to find out precisely what this 'super-hub' has in store.
You can find out more about Old Oak Common and the ongoing work in London over on the HS2 website.
