TfL has launched a new four-part podcast series, hosted by Secrets of the Underground co-presenter, Tim Dunn.

In 'Mind the Gap - Tube 160', Dunn delves into various aspects of the tube, including 'Architecture', 'Innovation' and 'People and Places', while chatting to the likes of photographer Luke Agbaimoni (aka Tube Mapper), Night Czar and Duckie co-founder Amy Lamé, and Wayne Hemingway, designer of the TfL staff uniforms.

Anyone who's enjoyed Dunn's forays into the depths of London's transport network in Secrets of the Underground will instantly warm to the show. As Dunn points out at the beginning of the first episode, this is not your average corporate podcast: "The TfL team has put quite a bit of trust into me... they've basically given me the keys and the contacts book and said 'off you go!'".

You can hardly fail to be strung along by the presenter's infectious style, and — as with Secrets of the Underground — this is very much an on-location show, in which Dunn shuttles around the capital, dipping into tube stations, tunnels, depots and the like. You feel like you're being taken on a journey.

Rylan is the guest in a Christmas special — and he loves the tube more than you might think...

Three of the 30-minute episodes are already available to listen to for free, while a Christmas special starring Rylan (who, would you believe it, is a self-confessed tube enthusiast, with a replica tube station in his back garden) is released in a few days' time. Try not to get too addicted though; as we say, this series is strictly a four-parter, and it's unclear if further series are planned (though it's probably the case that they'll see how these go down).
