Euston Station To Close For Three Weekends This Summer

That trip to Coventry will have to wait.

Euston station will be closed for three weekends this summer: 18-19 August, 25-27 August (bank holiday weekend) and 1-2 September, with all West Coast trains cancelled. That means no London Northwestern Railway, Virgin Trains west coast trains, or London Overground services to or from Euston.

The station closure is part of Network Rail's replacement of the busy North Wembley junction.

Passengers wanting to make journeys between London and cities including Coventry, Birmingham and Liverpool, are being advised not to travel on these weekends if possible. However, some replacement bus services are available, as well as train services to and from other London stations. Network Rail has, however, warned those who do travel, to "expect very different journeys to normal".  More information here.

Underground services at Euston will run as usual.
