The full line-up for West End Live 2019 has been announced.

The annual event brings together stars from several West End musical for free performances on stage in Trafalgar Square. The Lion King, Mamma Mia, Matilda, and Wicked are some of the shows represented at the event this weekend.

Things kick off with the cast of Aladdin doing a 15-minute showcase on Saturday morning, followed by the likes of Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Come From Away, and Only Fools And Horses The Musical.

Sunday highlights include The Lion King, Waitress, Thriller Live and BalletBoyz. The fast-paced scheduling means the snappy sets are brief enough to maintain the attention of even the youngest audience members, and the schedule means you can drop by to catch your favourite shows — but it gets busy, so once you've given up your front row space, there's no getting it back.

While the cast of long-running shows are regulars at West End Live, others are new for this year. Brooklyn the Musical doesn't hold its European premiere until September, but its cast is scheduled to offer a preview performance on Sunday afternoon. Similarly, the cast of the forthcoming revival of Falsettos will endure a baptism of fire, having only been announced this week.

Comedian, actor and musical theatre performer Jason Manford, and Magic Radio, presenters Emma B, Tom Chambers, Tom Price and Harriet Scott are all co-hosting the stage across the weekend.

West End Live 2019 takes place 11am-5pm on Saturday 22 June and 12pm-5pm on Sunday 23 June. It's free to attend, and there's no need to book tickets (but get there early for a good view). The full schedule is available on the website.
