Fancy spending the night — the whole night — at one of London's most awe-inspiring museums?

Dino Snores for Grown-Ups is the stuff childhood dreams are made of. The sleepover-to-end-all-sleepovers. A bucket list-level special winter blues banisher. It returns to the Natural History Museum early next year, giving you the chance not only to explore world-class galleries long after the daytime crowds have left, but to sleep among them too!

Tickets for Friday 20 February and Friday 6 March are on sale now, so you'll want to snap yours up sharpish. Places are extremely limited and likely to sell out FAST. But first, a little taste of the nocturnal adventure that awaits...

Naturally, you’ll spend a good chunk of time visiting many of the Natural History Museum's most fascinating exhibits, including old favourites in the Dinosaur Gallery and Hope the Blue Whale in Hintze Hall. Your Dino Snores ticket also includes entry to some brilliant exhibitions — Space: Could Life Exist Beyond Earth?, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and Fixing Our Broken Planet.

On top of the long-dead specimens that now call the Natural History Museum home, you'll get to meet a few live animals too, courtesy of a workshop led by ethical handling company Zoolab.

That's just the start of the evening fun that awaits at Dino Snores for Grown-Ups. There are also live science shows, stand-up comedy, Dino Bingo and the dulcet tones of a live harpist to serenade you as you unroll your sleeping bag on one of the museum's upper balconies. As for night owls? They can take advantage of an all-night movie marathon in the museum's theatre.

No need for FOMO if you do turn in earlier, though — you'll be ready for the yoga class that awaits the next morning.

No sleepover is complete without plenty of refreshments, and the Natural History Museum's offering far surpasses the penny sweets and crumpled crisps of your youth. Included with your ticket is an alcoholic or soft welcome drink, a three-course meal, and after-dinner tea and coffee. There's also a late-night cash bar to help further fuel the festivities, and the next morning you'll be treated to a complimentary cooked breakfast.
