Now THIS we'd happily get up early for.

Did you know there's an infinity rooftop pool, which has a sublime view of neighbouring Battersea Power Station — and did you further know it is sometimes open to the public?

You can access art'otel's open air swimming pool every other Monday morning in June 2024 — 10 and 24 June — and every Monday in July and August (apart from the August bank holiday) when you sign up to an aqua aerobics class. The sessions — lasting from 8am-8.45am — are led by the hotel's resident trainer, Gaz O'Hardy, and promise to have you 'pumped and ready to conquer the day'. Well, that is, if you can give Gaz your full and undivided attention, what with those iconic quadruplets glimmering in the morning light/ensconced in the morning murk.

The good news is that the pool's heated, so no goose fat necessary; the not-so-good news is that the 45-minute sessions come at a premium, costing £25 a pop. That, however, will also get you a hot drink, a pastry, and an altogether unique view.
