Not only is Glow 2020 at Wisley going ahead this Christmas, but this year's twinkling route is the longest ever, making it an extra-special festive occasion for all the family, with plenty of space for social distancing.
Dress up warm and begin your festive adventure by wandering beneath sparkling cherry trees, before ogling a spectrum of light over the Pinetum, Rock Garden, and other parts of RHS Garden Wisley. We won't spoil all the surprises, but you'll definitely want to see the impressive installations both inside and outside the Glasshouse too.
Once you're done with the spectacular lights, there's plenty else to help you make a night of it. Four different restaurants and cafes open for Glow visitors, including the Terrace Restaurant — booking essential — which is serving up traditional turkey meals, and the Glasshouse Cafe, where you can warm up with drinks such as spiced apple juice and mulled wine. The Shop and Plant Centre has extended opening hours too, giving you a chance to make a start on your Christmas shopping, while supporting the RHS through an incredibly challenging year.
Don't be put off by the Surrey address — RHS Garden Wisley is located right by the M25, making it an accessible and easy evening out from London. It's a very safe set-up too — visitor numbers are strictly limited, and a one-way system is in operation, to enable you to stay away from other visitors as you enjoy the trail.
Glow 2020 at RHS Wisley takes place 21 November 2020-4 January 2021 (excluding 24-26 December). Tickets are £15 adult (£7.95 member)/£10 child (£3.50 member) and must be booked in advance.
