So Fetch! An Immersive Mean Girls Cinema And Dining Experience Is Coming To London

That's so fetch!

Calling all Plastics, Varsity Jocks and JV Cheerleaders: an immersive screening of Mean Girls is coming to London this February.

19 years (!) since Cady Heron first set foot in the corridors of North Shore High School and introduced us to The Burn Book, the limit for fun events themed on this fetch film apparently does not exist.

Across two weekends, special 'Galentine's' dining and screening experiences take place, with six dishes and drinks served at specific times within the film to coincide with the on-screen action. The 'eat what you see' menu includes chicken kiev (Ed's note: kyiv, surely?) with potato dauphinoise and thyme butter broccoli — wait, is butter a carb? — as well a baked goats cheese with honey and burnt chilli orange, and a peanut butter fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream inspired by Regina George's Kalteen bars.

'Cool mums' can knock back a pineapple whiskey cocktail and strawberry daiquiri too.

If toaster strudel doesn't make an appearance on the menu though, we don't think Gretchen Wiener's father would be too pleased to hear about this.

It may not be Wednesday (or October 3rd), but you're still encouraged to wear pink to the screenings — though do check your ESPN for rain when planning your outfit. Smelling like a baby prostitute is optional...

Mean Girls Immersive Cinema and Dining Experience takes place on 11, 12, 18 and 19 February, with two screenings each day. The venue is The Refinery City Point on Moorgate, and tickets are £75 per person, and go on sale at 9am on Thursday 29 January. Meat, vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
