Enjoy A Summer Of Spacious Cinema Under The Stars

This is a sponsored article on behalf of The Luna Cinema.

If you thought summer 2020 was cancelled, think again. The Luna Cinema is returning to London with some classic outdoor film screenings in stunning settings.

Wimbledon Park and Dulwich Park are some of The Luna Cinema's London venues this year, along with a residency in the beautiful grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The gardens are usually home to the Chelsea Flower Show, but the cancellation of that event this year means that the location can be used as an outdoor cinema for the very first time.

Kick back in your chair (provided by The Luna Cinema — no need to bring your own) and watch your favourite films under the stars. Royal Hospital Chelsea has its own bar, and picnic hampers available to preorder or buy on site (no outside food or drink is allowed at this venue), so everything is taken care of for you. All you need to do is pick a film.

At Wimbledon Park and Dulwich Park, no food or drink is available to buy, so pack up a picnic (no glass) to tuck into while you watch the action on screen.

The programme this year is packed with classics including Jurassic Park, Grease, Pretty Woman and Dirty Dancing. If you prefer a new release to something you've seen before, perhaps Rocketman, Judy or Joker will tempt you. Check out the wide range of films available.

An outdoor cinema is the ideal place to social distance, and The Luna Cinema team have worked with health and safety experts and put in extra precautions to keep cinema-goers safe. Your group is provided with its own pitch for either two or four people, set 2m away from other visitors, making it a great option for a night out while maintaining social distancing.

Seating is spaced out, and cleaned thoroughly between each screening, and queues for the toilets and food and drink stalls are all socially distanced, with plenty of hand sanitiser dotted around. The Luna Cinema is also offering a 'Book with Confidence' guarantee, meaning that if you can't attend your original screening due to illness or health concerns, you can exchange it for a ticket to an alternative screening. A win-win cinema-under-the-stars situation.

The Luna Cinema is at Royal Hospital Chelsea from 25 August, Dulwich Park 16-20 September, and Wimbledon Park 29 September-4 October 2020. Tickets cost £37 for a pitch for two people, or £74 for a pitch for four, and need to be booked in advance.
