Huge displays, building competitions and discontinued Lego sets are all part of the London Brick Festival, coming to the capital for one day only this February.

The celebration of all things Lego is open to fans of all ages, with expert Lego builders displaying their latest projects, some of them on a huge scale.

Exact details for this year's event haven't been revealed, but builds up to 30ft-long have been seen at past events, including a bricky recreation of Mos Eisley Spaceport for Star Wars fans.

Prefer to get hands-on? Thousands of Lego bricks will be available for visitors to play with on the day in a dedicated building area, with speed-building competitions for kids and adults to take part in, and prizes to be won.

Working on something at home and need a helping hand? All manner of Lego is available to buy from traders, from loose bricks to Minifigures to accessories, as well as Lego sets, both new and coveted retired editions.

So just Lego, relax, and enjoy the day.

London Brick Festival takes place 12 February 2023 at the Royal National Hotel near Russell Square. Tickets are £7 adult/£5 child (or £15 per person for early access) and can be bought in advance.
