Last Chance To Visit This Year's Beautiful Orchid Festival At Kew Gardens

The annual Orchids Festival at Kew Gardens is back, with an Indonesian theme for 2020.

Over 5000 orchids hailing from the archipelago are on display in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, taking the form of flower arches, floral walls, and even sculptures of Indonesian wildlife. The centrepiece this year is a volcano, a nod to the geology of Indonesia. It's a beautiful event, adding a splash of colour to February in London — plus the tropical conservatory is a great place to warm up.

Take a sneak peek at this year's festival in the photos below:

Kew Orchids Festival 2020 takes place 8 February-8 March. Entry is included in your Kew Gardens entrance but you need to book an Orchid timeslot in advance. Orchids After Hours events take place on 13, 14, 26, 27 February and 5, 6 March 2020, 6.30pm-10pm.
