Looking for a unique way to reach one of London's finest viewpoints? On Saturday 8 March, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) invites you to run, jog, or walk your way to the top of 20 Fenchurch Street — AKA the Walkie Talkie — in its annual Walkie Talkie Tower Climb.
36 floors (and a pulse-raising 896 stairs) stand between you and the breathtaking oasis that is the Walkie Talkie's Sky Garden. If that sounds intimidating, just picture the incredible views of the city you'll soak up alongside a rush of accomplishment once you reach the top. And if you need any extra motivation, know that your effort will help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer.

Every Walkie Talkie Tower Climb participant is asked to try and raise £250 for GOSH Charity. By doing so, you'll help to fund groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment, the rebuilding and refurbishment of child-centred facilities, and essential support services for children and their families.

In addition to your fundraising pledge, you're also asked to pay a registration fee, to help cover event costs. Usually, this is £30 but if you sign up by 31 January you can nab 50% off your fee using the code NY50. Once signed up, you'll receive a race pack in the post, which includes a bespoke t-shirt, race number and timing chip.
Then, it's time to get active, embrace a positive mindset and start raising money for this incredible cause.

Come race day, you'll take part in a fun warm up before making your ascent. Once you reach the Sky Garden — which, fun fact, is the UK's highest public garden — you'll be rewarded with a well-deserved medal and a celebratory drink. Oh, and in case you're in need of extra refreshments, this sky-high oasis conveniently houses two bars...
Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity's Walkie Talkie Tower Climb takes place on Saturday 8 March 2025 at 20 Fenchurch Street. Registration costs £30, or £15 if you sign up by 31 January using the code NY50.
