Parkrun has suspended its events for the forseeable future due to Covid-19.

The popular series of events — which began in London — takes place in parks and green spaces across the world. There are 56 parkruns in the greater London area; each event takes place at 9am on Saturday and is 5km long. We once ran every single one in the city (back when there were only 47).

The events have been suspended until at least the end of March, but this could be extended further.

As long as you are only social distancing and not self-isolating, the government do still recommend outdoor exercise, be that walking or running, as it's beneficial to both your physical and mental health.
