A Thrilling Day Out At The Home Of English Rugby

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

Spectacular sport, a buzzing atmosphere, and great value tickets — if you're after a brilliant day out for the whole brood, you can't go wrong with the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final.

On Saturday 1 June, you're invited to watch England's top rugby teams battle it out for national glory. Join 80,000 fans from across the league at Twickenham Stadium, the sport's English home, at the biggest domestic showcase of the season.

After 22 rounds and a pair of sure to be thrilling semi-finals, it all comes down to two teams. At the time of writing, we don't know which ones these will make the final just yet — so make sure you keep tabs on the Premiership's fixtures for the latest information as the competition rages on.

Either way, though, it's guaranteed to be a high octane afternoon out at the world's largest rugby union stadium. And with tickets starting at just £15 for kids and £35 for grown-ups, it's a bit of a bargain, to boot.

Before kick off and after the final whistle, there's plenty to please rugby enthusiasts of all ages in the Fan Village.

Get there early to meet rugby stars past and present, have your face painted with your team colours, and test out your own sporting prowess on the rugby agility course. If those aren't enough thrills for you, there's even the chance to get behind the wheel of a Land Rover terrapod and show off your driving skills.

Once the match is over, head to the BT Sports Stage to get the reactions from the winning team (aka England's newly-crowned rugby champions).

There's more to the day than sport, too. On your way to the stadium, why not take a detour to explore the picturesque town of Twickenham? Located on the banks of the River Thames, this pretty part of west London is the perfect location for a waterside stroll in the sunshine (assuming the great British weather cooperates, that is.)

It also boasts some rather impressive examples of 18th century architecture and some rather charming watering holes, should you fancy carrying on festivities after the match.

So, whether you're a rugby fanatic or an intrigued novice, if you're looking for a brilliant day out within spitting distance of central London that the whole can enjoy, Gallagher Premiership Rugby's got it covered.
