Not much bigger than a sugarloaf, this tiny boozer is easily missed. You'll find it down Bride Lane, squeezed in between more famous neighbours the Old Bell and the Punch Tavern. Indeed, it was once part of the latter, but got 'walled off' after a dispute among the co-owners.
Inside, its almost like a stage set for a typical Sam Smiths pub. Dark wooden panels, cut-glass mirrors and a sculpted ceiling. It's timeless.
The pub's obscurity means you can usually get a seat or bar stool, despite the limited space.
Drinks are all Sam Smiths' own, so nothing too exciting or modish. But you're here for the ambience, not the quality of beer.
