Brave Sir Robin

Brave Sir Robin

With the introduction of The Brave Sir Robin, Crouch Hill is now lucky enough to boast a trio of quality pubs all within a two minute walk of each other. Just a little further down from The Old Dairy and The Stapleton Tavern, The Brave Sir Robin has replaced the so-so Hopsmiths. Like its namesake from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it brings plenty of cheer — but you won't want to run away .

With a vast selection of craft beers that change regularly enough to have you coming back more often than you should, it's a welcome addition to the area and can be found to have a happy buzz of punters on a weekend afternoon.

A light yet cosy boozer with a retro 70s living room, the decor is somewhat unusual — but enjoyably so. One of the booths will suit those looking to make the most of the delicious food on offer, and there are plenty of tables for casual drinkers. However, we recommend the impossible-to-get-out-of sofas that are conveniently situated right next to the bar.

Halves, three-quarters and full pints of lagers, beers, ales, and ciders are all available — tap and cask, which makes for splendid choice. There's occasionally a punchy home-mulled cider on offer for those chillier evenings. But don't worry if you're not a beer fiend, there's also a great selection of wines by the glass and the bottle to chose from so no one will go home thirsty.

If you're unsure about what to order, just ask the very knowledgeable and helpful staff who are more than happy to provide recommendations and plenty of tasters.
