Praise be! Sister Act: The Musical is coming to London in summer 2020, with Whoopi Goldberg reprising her lead role from the hit 1992 film.
Goldberg plays disco diva Deloris Van Cartier who ends up in protective custody in a convent, overseen by the Mother Superior, played here by Jennifer Saunders.
Few further details have been released about the production yet, but expect a soundtrack of Motown, soul and disco tunes, plenty of dance routines, and a few laughs along the way.
Sister Act: The Musical is at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, 29 July-30 August 2020.
