A wedding showcase for LGBTQ+ couples comes to the capital's tallest building later this year.
Pridelux bills itself as "the world's first ever luxury wedding show, catering exclusively to LGBTQ+ couples." Hosted in The Shard's Shangri-La hotel, it's also clearly aimed at those with cash to splash: there'll be Vivienne Westwood gowns for lesbian brides, same-sex wedding suits, and advice from Calvin Klein's stylist, Joe Wolfe.
The show — which take place on 13 and 14 September — will also include multi-coloured Ladurée macarons, queer DJs, and drag queens. Sounds like a blast — and at £45 a ticket, it probably should be.
Said a Pridelux spokesperson:
LGBTQ+ fiancees often face challenges when planning their special day. At straight wedding shows the exhibitors can be closed-minded, ask embarrassing questions, create awkward situations and share info that is irrelevant.
Pridelux, Shangri-La, The Shard, September 13-14. Tickets £45
