Piccadilly Circus - Your Chance To Appear On The Iconic Screen

Ray Burmiston has taken portraits of over 300 celebs... but your face could appear on the Piccadilly Lights screen too.

Your 15 minutes of fame may be closer than you think.

This September/October, there's a chance to have your selfie appear on the iconic big screen at Piccadilly Circus. What's the occasion? Over 300 celebs have had their portrait taken by Ray Burmiston, for Take A Moment 2023. Each person shot in black and white, has their eyes closed — a reminder to take care of their mental health. They include Louis Theroux, Alex Scott, Eddie Izzard, Aisling Bea, Alesha Dixon and Idris Elba.

And here's the thing: members of the public are being invited to upload their own selfies, with a chance to appear alongside the roll call of celebrities. You can upload your selfies here.

Take A Moment 2023 appears on the Piccadilly Lights and in the National Portrait Gallery from mid September to mid October.
