Paddington Bear has returned to his London namesake, filming a music video at Paddington station.
One of Us is a new single and music video by Tom Fletcher — member of McFly and writer of Paddington the Musical — and Paddington himself, released on 28 November.

The video shows Fletcher sitting at a lamp-strewn piano on a deserted concourse at Paddington National Rail station as midnight approaches after the last train and passengers have left. Surrounded by parcels and luggage, he begins to play and sing as fellow musicians appear behind him.
Slowly, out of the mist further along the platform, a small but familiar figure emerges, wearing a hat and carrying a suitcase. He tips his hat towards the musicians before rummaging in his suitcase, and gently placing a marmalade sandwich atop Fletcher's piano. As he sits on his suitcase, the clock hits midnight and a National Rail sign lights up with the message "Spreading joy and marmalade to all", just at Fletcher tucks into his sandwich.
The song comes from the soundtrack of Paddington the Musical, which debuted earlier this autumn, receiving praise for its depiction of the fictional bear. Given Brits' affection for Michael Bond's ursine immigrant, we reckon it's got a strong chance at the coveted Christmas number one spot.

That's not the only London-based music video news this week. Rumours are rife that Taylor Swift filmed her new music video in Croydon's Whitgift Centre last weekend. Browse our map of music videos filmed in London for other locations frequented by the stars.
Paddington The Musical is on at the Savoy Theatre, and the Paddington Bear Experience is currently running at County Hall.
