Time to get Dancing On The Ceiling... of Hampton Court Palace!
That's right, Hampton Court Palace Festival has bagged Lionel Richie as a headliner for its 2020 edition. And the 80's nostalgia doesn't stop there... Rick Astley is also headlining.
Richie has played the palace before, back in 2018. He sold out back then with folks singing All Night Long, and we'd expect him to do the same in 2020. He's playing two nights on 11 June and 16 June, to accommodate Truly high demand.
This is also a return to the palace for Astley, who played in 2017. Perhaps the the two are just destined to be Together Forever. Apparently Astley told his London fans he was Never Gonna Give You Up (ok, that's a lie, it's just blooming difficult to squeeze that song in naturally).
Tickets for both Richie and Astley go on sale Friday 22 November at 9am on Hampton Court Palace Festival's website. Tickets for Americana legend George Benson are already on sale.
