"A kind of Greatest Hits Map."
That's how London artist Dex described his latest — and apparently last ever — typographical map of London. Covering the capital's music, films, literature, lyrics and more in various maps over the past decade, Dex has now smooshed all these concepts together, to create The Culture Map of London.
Here, Ziggy Stardust rubs shoulders with Mrs Dalloway, a Camberwell Carrot smoulders away beneath Boris Karloff, the big foot from Monty Python stamps on the Hugh Grant film About a Boy, and the Buddha of Suburbia meditates next to Freddie Mercury and Beatrix Potter.

As ever, it's a joyous chaotic design from Dex — the kind of thing you could have up in your house for years, and still be noticing new things every day. And if this really is, as Dex describes it, "a farewell tour", the it's quite the sign-off.
