The iconic white canvas of The O2 Dome has been ripped apart by the winds of Storm Eunice.

In a video posted on Twitter by Ben Hubbard, at least four of the white panels are shown being torn from the sides of the huge white dome.

(UPDATE: As of approximately 1pm, six of the panels have been damaged or destroyed).

That in turn is allowing the wind to get inside the structure, which means more of the panels may become detached or ripped.

Other videos also show the damage:

Tonight's gig at the venue has already been cancelled. Follow The O2 Twitter account for more updates.
