Enjoy 2-for-1 Pints, Prosecco And Palomas At These Top London Pubs

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Greene King.

What's more satisfying than an ice-cold pint on a warm summer's day? How about two of them? Or, if you're not into beer, two glasses of prosecco or two refreshing paloma cocktails — all for half the usual price.

This is Greene King's new happy hour: a 2-for-1 offer on three supremely summery drinks, available at the majority of the company's zone 1 pubs, and at a fair few elsewhere in London.

Get yourself down to one of 99 glorious Greene King watering holes scattered across the capital between 4pm and 7pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), to take advantage of this incredible deal.

Order a beer (Either Peroni or new Flint Eye and Level Head craft beers, depending what's on site), fizz, or a paloma — a zesty blend of Patron Silver Tequila and Fever-Tree Pink Grapefruit Soda, served over ice with a lemon garnish — and you'll get a second one for no additional cost.

That means, in outer London, you could enjoy two drinks for as little as £4.39 — perfect for after-work catch-ups, a pre-theatre tipple, or even a thrifty date night!

So, where exactly can you take advantage of Greene King's pints, prosecco and palomas offer? As we mentioned, there are nearly 100 London pubs to choose from, but we've pulled out a few of our favourites for summertime drinking below.

Prospect of Whitby

Located on the north bank of the Thames in Wapping, this is London's oldest riverside inn, dating all the way back to 1520. It boasts spectacular views of London's main artery from its beer garden and first-floor balcony and terrace. Inside is equally charming, with its original flagstone floor, a rare pewter-top bar, and repurposed barrels and ship masts.

Over the years, the pub's played host to some illustrious punters, including Princess Margaret, JMW Turner, Samuel Pepys and Charles Dickens.

Camden Head

This buzzy pub is brilliant for people-watching, thanks to its large terrace overlooking Islington's picturesque Camden Passage — home to quirky boutiques and a fantastic fleamarket. You'll often find free comedy nights here, too!

The Salisbury

The Salisbury is ideal for a pre-theatre tipple due to its prime West End location. No beer garden here, but there's a clutch of outside tables on St Martin's Court that are ideal for watching the world go by on sunny evenings — though you may choose to sit inside to soak up its truly magnificent interiors (think ornate etched glass, beautiful mahogany accents, and general Victorian lavishness).

The Swan

Built in the 1790s, The Swan is a traditional pub that's just dripping in old-fashioned charm. Find it on Cosmo Place,  a quaint pedestrianised passageway close to Russell Square and The British Museum. Inside, there's classic Victorian decor, but we advise making a beeline for the pub's outdoor seating during the summer to take full advantage of its surprisingly serene location.
