Unleash Your Wild Side At London's Most Challenging Go Ape Adventure

This is a sponsored article on behalf of Go Ape.

Dare to take on the dizzying heights of Go Ape Cockfosters?

With thrilling high speed zips, free-fall swings and heart-stopping canopy crossings, the Treetop Challenge is the trickiest Go Ape adventure in the capital.

Surrounded by acres of ancient woodland in Trent Country Park, you'll soon forget that you're just a five minute walk from the Piccadilly line. But don't spend too long basking in the tranquillity of the forest — this course is all about getting your adrenaline pumping and pushing you out of your comfort zone.

Feeling nervous yet? You'll get a full safety briefing before taking on the dynamic obstacles and dastardly crossings that comprise Treetop Challenge. Feel your confidence soar as you work your way up to the highest of heights — that's 16 metres, FYI.

Go Ape Cockfosters is also home to the longest and fastest zip wire in London, offering an incredible 120m flight. Then there's the vertigo-inducing Tarzan Swing, which tests both your nerves and your physical strength, as you collide with — then haul yourself up — a cargo net suspended in mid-air.

With an option to adjust the levels of difficulty, this is your chance to really test your limits. You'll walk away feeling proud you took the leap, promise.

Kids as young as ten are welcome to take on the Treetop Challenge, making it a perfect excursion for families. But don't let the young 'uns have all the fun — GoApe is a great choice for grown-up birthday parties, stag and hen weekends, or as a quirky alternative to that post-work pint.

There's free parking onsite, as well as a small cafe where you can replenish yourself before or after your adventure — so why not make a day of it? Bring your bikes and spend the rest of your day exploring the idyllic meadows, babbling brooks and historical sites of  Trent Country Park. That includes the mysterious, medieval Camlet Moat, which could hold a connection to Arthurian legend...

Go Ape Cockfosters is located just five minutes from Cockfosters tube station, close to the M25. Prices start at £33 for thrill-seekers aged 16 and over, while 10-15 year olds can take on the course for £25. Participants must be at least 4ft7. Click here to find out more and book your tickets.
