The sun is shining, our stomachs are... rumbling. Yeah, they're always rumbling. So if you want to know where to find us this summer, this five-day foodie festival is the answer.
Taking over Regent's Park from 13-17 June, Taste of London is the definitive showcase of the capital's foodie scene. It's a bold claim, sure, but have you seen the line-up? Taking part are more than 40 of London's latest, greatest and most exciting restaurants — with half of them new for this year — serving up more than 150 different delectable dishes for you to enjoy.
Every corner of the culinary globe is represented, with restaurant highlights including Japanese-inspired mainstay ROKA, Michelin-starred Club Gascon, Sri Lankan Soho hot-spot Hoppers, and the Shard's Hutong — showcasing their acclaimed northern Chinese cuisine for the first time at the festival.
But what's a feast without meeting the faces behind the food? Renowned chefs join the line-up too, with Niklas Ekstedt and DJ BBQ hosting the event's Fire Pit feature, where London's best barbecue chefs sizzle, sear and roast over open flame. You can even book a session at The Taste Residence, and gain access to special four-course tasting menus from five of the most revered chefs on the planet.
Thirsty work, right? Luckily, the World Class Cocktail Bar is on hand to help you perfect those serves, and The House of Hops will take you on a refreshing journey through the UK's best craft beer and cider brewers.
Plus, when it's time to go home, you can bring a little bit of the show with you. The Artisan Producers Market features more than 200 traders, giving you the opportunity to sample and shop a bounty of the UK's best wine, cheese, charcuterie and more.
Tickets to the festival are on sale now, and because we know Londonist readers love their food, we're giving you £3 off entry. Aren't we generous? Simply enter code LONDONIST at checkout.
