Picture this: it's a summer evening in London, and you're sitting with your friends, family or partner, sparkling wine cocktail in hand, delicious food on the table, and views of the city spread out in front of you.

No need to imagine: that's the reality at The Cloudy Bay Summer Terrace, a beautiful spot that's popped up at the 8th floor Restaurant Terrace of the OXO Tower — available  until the end of August.

It's a chance for wine enthusiasts to sample a range of wines from New Zealand brand Cloudy Bay, which has been producing tipples for almost 40 years. Their sparkling wines, Pelorus and Pelorus Rosé, take centre stage, and the bar team has produced two signature cocktails to allow you to sample them at their finest.

The Cloudy Berry consists of Belvedere Vodka muddled with raspberry, mint and a dash of elderflower, strained over cubed ice and topped with Pelorus Rosé. The Grape-Brut Spritz, meanwhile, features Tanqueray gin, Pamplemousse Rosé and Pelorus Brut garnished with grapefruit.

Both of these thirst-quenching cocktails are only available while the pop-up is in situ, and can be served alongside a delicious tasting menu, showcasing Chef Jeremy Bloor's best dishes through six courses — including Dorset crab served with seaweed salad, cucumber, apple, avocado purée, and crab ketchup; slow cooked pork belly with creamed shallot and whole grain mustard, cider jellies, sea buckthorn gel and crackling; and honey and lemon cake served with crème fraiche.

Alternatively, enjoy three courses from OXO Restaurant's recently launched Summer Dining Menu, accompanied by a glass of Cloudy Bay Pelorus Brut or Rosé. From this menu, you could start with a truffle burrata served with charred peach, basil gel and smoked almonds; while mains include duck breast with smoked duck croquettes, pea purée and bacon lardons. Finish up with a dessert — we've got our eye on the roast peach with green tea ice cream and lime cream fraiche — for a refreshing taste of summer.

All that, plus riverside views from a beautifully-decorated terrace eight floors above London, make The Cloudy Bay Summer Terrace a seriously scrummy spot for after-work socialising or a weekend catch-up.

The Cloudy Bay Summer Terrace is open at OXO Restaurant until 31 August.
