Stick Your Tongue Out In An Alcoholic Snowstorm At This Pop-Up

If you've ever stood in a snow storm, stuck out our tongue and thought, "if only this snow were made from booze..." then your dream is about to come true.

Enter a cavern at the Nordic Winter Yulefest in Shoreditch to find a world of antlers, taxidermy and sheepskins in the flickering candlelight.

There will be lots of wintry smorgasbords to nibble on, filled with treats like barbequed reindeer, pickled herring tempura with dill mayo, smoked Norwegian beef tartare and scorched mackerel alongside free-flowing gluhwein. Entertainment includes a woodland wheel of fortune.

Most importantly, however, there will be the world's first alcoholic snow storm, where you can stick out your tongue (and glass) to catch the boozy snowflakes, infused with the flavour of pear and cinnamon (i.e. Christmas flavoured snow).

Creator Meredith O'Shaughnessy says of the pop-up, "inspired by the snowy forests of the north, we have filled this enchanting pop-up with incredible décor, fascinating entertainment and, of course, created the world's first alcohol snow storm which we are all so excited about – LET'S EAT SNOW."

If only all weather could be like this.

The pop-up runs from 28 November-18 December with tickets on sale now at £8 from the Nordic Yulefest website.
