Mmmm... steamed pumpkin buns

Don't let the fact that they're the same colour as Donald Trump put you off.

These Cantonese-style steamed buns are stuffed with sweet, roasted pumpkin and peppered with fragrant star anise, cinnamon and cloves. A delicious Halloween treat, provided pumpkin is your thing.

The buns are available for takeaway or to eat in

The buns are available from now until Halloween itself (Thursday 31 October) — and can be found at Bun House in Chinatown and Wembley Boxpark.

You can order them as part of a meal, or just buy one to takeaway — they're £3.20 each.

Hurray, they're only on sale up until Halloween

The founder of Bun House, Z,  says: "In China, pumpkins symbolise prosperity and abundance; here, they lend themselves perfectly to a sweet, seasonal bun that looks and tastes like the best of autumn."

Definitely a treat. If you like pumpkin.

Full disclosure: the orange colouring is not natural, although we're told only a very small amount is used in each bun.

The pumpkin buns are available at Bun House (Chinatown) and Wembley Boxpark until 31 October 2019.
