A London restaurant has launched a new afternoon tea themed on Netflix series Emily in Paris.

The Parisian-style menu is available at Pavyllon London, the Michelin-starred French restaurant inside the Four Seasons Park Lane, every weekend from now until October. The menu was created not by chef/neighbour/love interest Gabriel from the show, but by multi-Michelin-starred French chef Yannick Alléno. It begins with a range of savoury sandwiches, including cucumber with whipped feta, and smoked salmon and cream cheese.

The sweet section of the menu consists of French patisserie items including mini chocolate coffee eclairs, crème brulée, tarte au citron and pistachio financiers, and it's accompanied by tea, coffee or hot chocolate. For an extra cost, you can add a glass of sparkling tea or Moët & Chandon 'Grand Vintage' champagne (they've missed a trick by not serving Champere, the Champagne brand featured in the series).

The printed menu itself is specially designed, featuring a script from the show

The theme extends beyond the food, with the menu printed on a specially designed script from the show, and trivia from the series, which follows a twentysomething marketing assistant from America as she navigates life in the French capital. We're also promised "a playlist of chic French café music" as a soundtrack to the experience.

Emily in Paris Afternoon Tea is available at Pavyllon Mayfair, every Friday-Sunday until 27 October 2024. From £85 per person.
