Last year it served up more than 10,000 pigs in blankets over a weekend. Now, this sizzling Shoreditch pop-up is back.
For two days only this week (Friday 29 to Saturday 30 November 2024), Pigs In Blankets Restaurant is back at Bethnal Green Road, bringing with it a six-course pigs in blankets-themed menu, plus:
🌭 Bottomless pigs in blankets
🐷 New creations like Pig in Blanket Roulette (nope, no idea)
🥦 Vegetarian options including a foot-long vegan pig in blanket.
Tickets are a fiver, and include a welcome drink. Proceeds go to charity partner Neighbourly.
Sure, this is all a marketing stunt by supermarket giant Aldi, but as marketing stunts go, this is one we're willing to jump into the pocket of Big Pigs-In-Blankets for.
The first wave of tickets are sold out, but the website promises more to be released, and spaces for walk-ins. So if the prospect of a six-course pigs in blankets-themed menu sounds like all your Christmasses come at once, keep an eye out for further ticket releases or try your luck in person...
