One corner of west London is about to get a seasonal makeover, as Hobbledown Heath's legendary Pumpkin Patch returns.
Now a staple of autumn in the capital, this year's Pumpkin Patch is bigger than ever, with new photo installations for snapping a family pic, and a new games area — and we're giving away tickets to the fun!
Once again, you can wander among pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colours in the meadow alongside the River Crane in Hounslow. Eye them all up, grab a wheelbarrow and select your gourds to take home, whether you're after a classic orange pumpkin, or something a bit more unusual.
Keep your eyes open for roaming characters, bubble shows, children's performers, juggling and live music throughout the meadow — the whole family is looked after. Street-food vendors — an expanded selection from previous years — are on hand to keep everyone fuelled for their autumn adventure.
When we say the Pumpkin Patch is for 'the whole family', we mean the whole family. There are dog-friendly days on 2, 9 and 15 October, when you can bring four-legged friends along to explore the patch (making for some very cute snaps at the themed photo points!).
Hobbledown Heath's atmospheric Pumpkin Nights are back for 2026 too. Visit the Pumpkin Patch as daylight fades to wander among illuminated pumpkins and glowing lanterns — an unusual twist on picking your pumpkin, and a great chance to get some unusual pictures too.
