We're certainly stretching the definition of a pub with Signature Brew. Up on the newly-minted Blackhorse Beer Mile, these music-obsessed brewers have assembled not only a taproom, but an all-singing, all-dancing (and all-wrestling) entertainment hub.
Come for a brewski, and you might suddenly find yourself laughing your head off to live comedy, sitting ringside for a bout of Riot Grrrls of Wrestling, rocking out to some trendy band, or even partaking in a spot of painting. (Check out the full calendar of events here.)
Kids are very much welcome during the daytime (accompanied by an adult, we might hastily add), and there's oodles of indoor, outdoor and rooftop terrace space.
Signature Brew have pushed the envelope of what a brewery can be, although it's a simple pint you're wanting, you won't be disappointed: the taproom now has two bars (one of which has repurposed mics into tap handles), serving site-brewed Roadie IPA, Studio Lager and Black Vinyl stout (noticed the theme yet?).
There are five other great breweries within easy walking distance, and other outlets of Signature Brew in Haggerston and Wembley.
