Friends fans, could we BE any more excited? From 25 November to 19 December, you're once again invited to step into the world of your favourite 90s sitcom — this time with a festive twist.
This is FriendsFestive, the Christmas edition of the wildly popular FriendsFest, which at last returns to The Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, following a sold-out run back in 2019. It's your chance to explore the sets you know and love — dressed up for the holiday season — and get involved with sled-loads of Friends-flavoured fun, including photo-ops, themed food and drink, and the chance to sort your Christmas shopping out at the merch store.
Get into the yuletide spirit at Monica's iconic purple apartment, beautifully decorated for Christmas with the precision you'd expect from the detail-oriented, uber-competitive younger Geller sibling. Head across the hall to pay Joey and Chandler's bachelor pad a visit, then go and see Central Perk in all its festive glory.
At FriendsFestive, you'll also have the chance to recreate some of the most memorable moments from the series' holiday specials. Ring Phoebe's Christmas collection bell outside the mall (remember, that bucket is NOT a urinal), channel your inner Monica and Ross at the New Year's Rockin' Eve Disco, and re-enact the hilarious 'floating heads' scene of Season 10's Thanksgiving episode (a stone-cold classic, tbh).
Of course, no festive season would be complete without a visit to Santa's The Holiday Armadillo's Grotto. Head there to take a selfie with St Nick's most unlikely mascot, before popping on your winter warmers to recreate the show's famous title scene in the snow.
All that Friends-themed fun is sure to work up your appetite. Luckily, there'll be plenty of fabulous themed food and Christmas cocktails to indulge in as you catch up on some of your favourite Friends moments on the big screen — Thanksgiving pants at the ready!
