Fancy getting festive at an iconic London landmark?

Television Centre — the historic home of the BBC that's now a buzzing neighbourhood in its own right — invites you to eat, drink and be merry this November and December, inside a cosy winter pop up and under the glow of a spectacular Christmas tree.

Back by popular demand, this is Television Centre Live: The Winter Wrap Up.

Head to Television Centre forecourt on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening and step inside the Winter Hideout. This heated canopy venue boasts a pop-up bar run by local gastropub The Broadcaster, serving up festive cocktails and mulled wine.

Depending on which day you visit, you could catch feel-good sets from Laid Bare Music's resident DJs (27 November, 3, 11 and 18 December), or an even an intimate gig courtesy of Television Centre Unplugged (26 November, 4 December).

And that's not all the seasonal cheer that Television Centre's Winter Hideout has in store for visitors. Enjoy a semi al-fresco movie night in the form of a free screening of holiday classic Elf on 17 December. Or treat yourself to a wine and cheese tasting evening on 10 December.

Speaking of festive food, if you're in the mood for something more substantial, know that Television Centre is home to some truly excellent restaurants. The Broadcaster gastropub is a particular highlight, with a banging festive menu and stunning rooftop views of the west London skyline.

There's even more festive fun to be found elsewhere on the Television Centre forecourt. On 3 December and 10 December, two talented local school choirs — from Sacred Heart School and St George’s School — perform holiday favourites beneath a glittering Christmas tree. Winter doesn't get much more wholesome than this!

And with Television Centre located pretty much opposite not one but two Tube stations (it's between Wood Lane and White City, so it's served by a total of three Tube lines), it's super convenient for after work drinks (especially if you're a west Londoner), or if you fancy a treat after Christmas shopping at nearby Westfield White City. Make ours a prosecco, please!

Television Centre Live: The Winter Wrap Up runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until 18 December. See the full programme and plan your visit.
