Holidays are coming, holidays are coming...

Holidays are coming! The Coca-Cola truck begins its festive tour of the UK with a stop in London this week.

Despite the promotional image, the truck will not be parking up alongside Tower Bridge. Instead, you'll find it at Elys Yard in the Truman Brewery (Brick Lane) this Thursday (21 November), 2pm-9.30pm.

Head over there to get a snap of the famous TV ad truck, and take part in festive games and a lucky dip with the chance to win Coca-Cola merchandise. Naturally, the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar will flow freely, while performances by gospel choirs and DJ sets go on around you. We're also promised "a surprise performance from a chart-topping artist" as the sun goes down, though the exact identity of the star guest is still under wraps.

Though the glowing red juggernaut is sometimes mocked as a symbol of festive capitalism, there is some good behind this year's tour. It's supporting food charity FareShare, with Coca-Cola donating 20p to the organisation for every person who visits the truck at its various stops between 21 November and 22 December 2024, up to a value of £200,000.

London is the first stop on the Coca-Cola tour this year. Follow the brand on Instagram and Twitter for further announcements.
