Yesterday was one of the best, most powerful, and important days of my entire life. Yesterday will be a day that I will remember for the rest of my life. Being on the frontline to support my trans, intersex, and non-binary siblings at #transpridelondon stood as a testament to the entire world that we are here, we are unified, and we are powerful. As a movement, we literally shut down the centre of London and our chants were heard by everyone who had the pleasure of witnessing history in the making. In streets where often we feel our most vulnerable - where we feel like we can’t be ourselves - we stopped traffic, we commanded attention, and we made the streets ours. Our trans siblings of the past started Pride and are yet to benefit from the liberalisation of society: our trans, non-binary, and intersex siblings are still subject to systemic discrimination, physical abuse, and unlawful subjugation. As a individuals who survive the onslaught of societal LGBTQ-discrimination, we are powerful: together, as a community, we are unstoppable. What do we want? Trans, non-binary, and intersex rights. When do we want them? Now. 📸: @bbcnews
