Seen These Disturbing Ads Pasted Up Around The City?

From adverts for Allah, to roasted dogs heads, to promos for the 67th-or-thereabouts Mission Impossible installment, Londoners are used to seeing all manner of billboard ads. None, perhaps quite like these:

The disturbing advertisement parodies have materialised in trendy parts of town, including Soho and Shoreditch (the one on the image above is on Norton Folgate).

Prickling with dark humour — a kind of Tim Hunkin meets Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror vibe — they twist tropes of the advertising industry with some of our deepest fears. They're also rather brilliant.

It's the work of Birmingham artist Foka Wolf — who has also slapped plenty of ads over his home city. Such as this one:
