Now this is refreshing... Winter Brew Fest is a celebration of London’s microbrewing scene, bringing a wide range of thirst-slaking beers from twelve of London’s finest start-ups and smaller breweries to Shoreditch.
With over 40 beers on tap from cask and keg covering a massive range of styles and strengths, plus specialist bottled beers too, Winter Brew Fest offers an ale odyssey of rare promise (and some amazing Scottish cider, apparently).
There's also a winter food market open to the public all weekend (not just to ticket holders) with hot dogs from OhMyDog!, tasty stone-baked pizzas from Peel & Chimney as well as Japanese-inspired cuisine from Rainbo Food.
During the daytime 'Social Drinker' sessions there'll be tunes courtesy of DJ Bolter and a chance to chat with (fairly) sober brewery representatives. 'Beer Lover' evening sessions see the volume turned up a notch with live music and dancing. It all takes place a stone’s throw from Old Street Station over the weekend from the 7-9 November.
