Woah, boy! A festive season of horse-drawn rides through one of London's most picturesque parks takes place this December.

The sounds of jingling bells and clip-clopping hooves will accompany you on Operation Centaur's series of vintage carriage (or brake, to be exact) rides through scenic of Richmond Park β€” as you're pulled along by a couple of handsome Shire horses.

The Richmond Park experience runs from Saturday 6 December 2025-Thursday 1 January 2026 (although some dates have already sold out).

For Β£450 (+booking fee) groups of up to six people can enjoy a 75-minute trip, plus a pre-ride tours of the stables, and refreshments. (Alas, we can't promise the crisp, snow-dusted day as pictured at the top of this article.)

The rides make for a memorable wintry/Christmassy escapade, and at time of writing there's even availability for rides on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
